MATHS PROGRESSION OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS AND PROGRESSION IN VOCABULARY
Our Intent
Developing a deep understanding and a love of Maths is vital for preparing children for their future lives. We aim to encourage curiosity and to embed the skills involved when solving problems, so that children are not only confident mathematicians, but can also apply their perseverance and determination to other areas of the curriculum and their future careers. We endeavour to entangle Maths into the ethos of our school, making links between Mathematics and all curriculum areas, to fully immerse the children in the importance of this subject.
In EYFS, our Maths planning is guided by the White Rose Hub materials.
