We had such an amazing day at Great Wood last Friday. We built dams in the stream, caught fish and frogs when stream dipping, created some beautiful natural artwork, played rounders and had lots of fun free time! The weather was perfect and we enjoyed eating our lunch in the beautiful surroundings. Mrs Smyth said it was the least stressful trip she has ever been on! Well done Woodpeckers. You were brilliant!

We have had great fun filming The Bee Musical!

We had brilliant fun taking part in our Sports Day. The sack race made us giggle and the children showed amazing support and encouragement to each other. Thank you PTFA for our ice lollies! They were delicious.

During Health Week, our class ran 302 miles in 2.5 hours (collectively) to raise money for our classroom resources. The children were incredible and showed such perseverence and determination. Go Woodpeckers!

Mysterious events witnessed in our school grounds!

In response to the mysterious events in school recently, the children have written letters to the School Governors, The Parish Council and the Neighbourhood watch to report what they have discovered and to find out if anyone else has noticed anything that may lead to the finding the culprit.

Today, we learnt about Armistice Day. We created poppy paintings to remind us what the symbol of the poppy means.

Aztec patterns.

We wrote newspaper reports to warn others about the chocolate theft! Watch out for chocolate hand prints, purple fur and large foot prints!

Chocolate Theft at School! These are the photos we took whilst gathering evidence. The chocolate monster made such a mess and stole Mrs Smyth's chocolate stash!

We have been following a range of instructions today in literacy and thinking about the skills that are needed to be able to follow them effectively.

We have been learning to draw people accurately using eggs and sausages! Have a look at our sneaky and scary monster poses!

WANTED - Chunk! Have you seen this huge chocolate monster? He's been stealing chocolate treats from around Mark. Keep your chocolate locked up!
