Country Dancing in Wells

What a colourful spectacle, watching over 1000 children from all over Somerset taking part in the 40th Folk Dancing Festival on the green in front of Wells Cathedral last Saturday, 14th June. It was a glorious sunny day and our Year 2, 3 and 4 children looked marvellous in their updated outfits, thanks to Mrs J-V's needlework skills. The children maintained their energy despite the warm weather and thoroughly enjoyed side stepping, spinning and skipping. The Flamborough Sword Dance was expertly led by Rhiannon and her team. Thanks to Mrs D'Ovidio for preparing the children so well. They were amazing!
