Primary and Secondary Admissions – September 2021

The admissions process for school place applications in September 2021 is under way and the website will is now live for parents/carers to make their on-line application.

For children due to start school for the first time or transfer to a junior or middle school the closing date for applications is 15th January 2021 and the national offer day is 16 April 2021.

The primary and secondary admission guides for the 2021 admissions process can be found on our website www.somerset.gov.uk/admissions. Parent/carers are advised to read the guide thoroughly before making an online application.

In previous years the Admissions and Entitlements Team have written to every parent/carer of children due to start or transfer school explaining how to apply, key dates and where to find further information. Due to budgetary constraints they no longer write individually to parents. Information can be found on their website www.somerset.gov.uk/admissions and they also make use of Facebook, twitter, local press etc as usual to raise awareness. Chaser texts and/or letters will still be sent if they have not received an application by a certain date prior to the deadline.

Please read the information given below which gives details of our admission arrangements for the school.
